I bought this 1984 LeMans III in 1987 from a Guzzi mechanic
named Willie in Portland Oregon. It came with a Guzzi
performance exhaust and 40mmDelorto pumper carbs, Dyna
ignition and coils. I’ve added a T3 tank, Corbin seat and fender (it’s a long story), higher bars, Tomaselli throttle, transcontinental flywheel and clutch, aluminum timing gears and marzocchi forks. Dave Blue rebuilt the motor at 71,000; it now shows 91,422. Still on hand and in good shape are the stock seat fairings and fender, front forks, clip-ons, stock cylinders and pistons. |

plate). It has custom Italian seats, matching saddle bags,
upgraded kick stand, gorgeous brembo brakes and disks,
adjustable everything (throttle, brake, gear change
tension/position), coil-over shocks with damping adjustment
(bounce/rebound) - everything is factory standard and the
bike is concourse perfect for accuracy and therefore is a
true collectors item - that you can ride! The bike hasn't been ridden in three years, its been on display in Kitchener, Ontario as an art piece in the presentation center in a famous building we're restoring. Now the restoration is complete and I don't have room for it - so its time it was appreciated for what it is - a tremendous collectors' item that should be enjoyed on the open road. (I'd ride it myself but I race cars and don't have enough spare time for a wife, kids, racecar, special interest sportscar and a bike...I'm sure you feel sorry for me!) 1972 MOTO GUZZI ELDORADO 850

I am offering for sale my 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 850. I did purchase this motorcycle just over a year ago in running condition but in need of attention. Mileage is unknown as is general history. During my ownership bike has recieved considerable refurbish. --Transmission and top end were removed.-Rear main seal, ring gear, u-joint boot and starter were replaced. -Chrome bores were OK but of concern so stripped, plated with Nikisil with original pistons/new rings.-Heads inspected as good, cleaned and valves lapped.-All new gaskets for top end and new generator belt.-Carbs were ultra cleaned, rebuilt, uni-pod filters applied.-New Tommaselli 2 cable throttle with new cables and drilled manifold ports for balanced running.-New points, condenser, plugs, wires and battery along with inspected and abbreviated harness.-Brakes were lapped and new cables custom made- working very well with new all terrain tires.-Gauges are not original (used from MGClassics) but are working although "vague". I have the color matched toolboxes and some other extras to throw in if you want. Ive put about 1000 miles on it since the rebuild and changed oils twice. Its running awesome!
